This convention will empower impressionable and driven individuals by providing opportunities and inspiration to grow as entrepreneurs and innovators. There will be hands-on, interactive opportunities to learn skills that will be essential to whichever career path you choose after college. We hope this convention unites Rowan's different colleges and other Universities to create an innovative, collaborative network of talented and unique students of all different majors and backgrounds.

The convention will include keynote speakers, collaborative workshops, networking sessions, interaction with other entrepreneurs and innovators, giveaway prizes, and of course food! You will have the opportunity to learn from some of the most talented leaders and have fun while doing it. UIF is all about igniting innovation in a fun, interactive environment, so be sure to bring an open mind.

About UIF
What is UIF?
The University Innovation Fellowship program through Stanford University's Design School teaches students to become change agents on their campuses. The program was created as part of the National Center for Engineering Pathways to Innovation (Epicenter). This is the first year Rowan has participated in the program and created a team of four students in its leadership circle. The team has learned from various Stanford professors, Google innovators, and successful entrepreneurs about identifying and addressing problems in the world. Our mission is to bring entrepreneurship and innovation to campus through Rowan's FIRST Entrepreneurship & Innovation Convention.

FAQ
Do I have to be a business or engineering related major to attend?
Absolutely NOT! In fact, the goal of our convention is to have students from as many different majors to attend. We want to foster an environment of interdisciplinary collaboration as that's how innovation begins. We want YOU!
How much is this going to cost me?
If you register before April 9 on the early bird registration, the cost is $5. After that date, the regular registration is $10. This cost covers all expenses for food, and we do have free giveaways! However, if this cost is a barrier from your attendance, please reach out to us at UIF@rowan.edu.
Who can attend?
Any college student (18+)! Bring your friends and family too! We welcome students from outside Rowan University as well. All students will register on the EventBrite.
What should I bring?
A form of identification (driver's license, school ID, etc.) for check-in. You will also need to sign a liability waiver and photo release form to gain attendance. Besides that, just bring an open-mind that is ready to learn new ideas and gain new perspectives on innovation of all forms!
I see "unconference" on the schedule. What is that..?
You will just have to come find out for yourself!
